Yamunotri- Located in the district of Uttarkashi, the middle and surrounded by the lush valleys of the Garwal region, Yamunotri dham is often considered the first stop of the four holy shrines in the the pilgrimage routes of Char Dham and itself is a holy site. The holy river Yamuna gets its origin from Yamunotri glacier, which is located in the region. 

Gangotri- Second stop on the char dham tourist circuit. Gangotri is famous for the origin of holy Ganga River. It is believed that Gomukh glacier is located in Gangotri where holy river Ganga begins its downstream to the plains. The 18th century temple dedicated here is dedicated to Goddess Ganga and is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi once is believed to have worshipped Lord Shiva.  The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure, made of white granite. 

Kedarnath- Kedarnath is located in the district of rudraprayag in the state of Uttarakhand, India. The Kedarnath temple here, dating back a century as per the puranas, is a revered Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is as a symbol of faith and tolerance attracting devoted pilgrims seeking spiritual solace and salvation amidst breathtaking natural beauty and challenging terrain. 

Badrinath - The Temple, located in the Chamoli district of Kumaon region of Uttarakhand, India, is a significant Hindu pilgrimage site dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Dressed in its ancient roots and glory, and revered as one of the Char Dham sites, it holds immense spiritual importance. Surrounded by majestic mountains and pristine landscapes, it attracts devotees seeking divine blessings and salvation.-

Day 1 Haridwar to Barkot (Yamunotri Base)

Depart from Haridwar early morning. Continue to Mussoorie, explore the picturesque Kempty Fall (Approximately 4 hours). Head to Barkot, reaching by evening. Check into a comfortable hotel, relax, and acclimatize. Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 2 Yamunotri

Embark on a morning trek to the sacred Yamunotri temple (Approximately 6 km, 3 hours). Visit the temple and rejuvenating hot springs. Explore the charming Kharsali village. Return to Barkot in the evening. Overnight stay in Barkot.

Day 3 Barkot to Uttarkashi

Depart for Uttarkashi after a hearty breakfast (Approximately 4-5 hours). Enroute, visit the mystical Prakateshwar Cave. Reach Uttarkashi and explore the sacred Vishwanath Temple. Check into a hotel, relax, and take a stroll around the town. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 4 Uttarkashi to Gangotri

Drive to the spiritual haven of Gangotri in the morning (Approximately 4-5 hours). Enroute, visit the purifying Gangnani hot springs. Pay homage at the Gangotri temple and explore its serene surroundings. Return to Uttarkashi, visiting the historic Kuteti Devi Temple. Overnight stay in Uttarkashi.

Day 5 Uttarkashi to Guptakashi/Phata/Sirsi

Depart for Guptakashi after a wholesome breakfast (Approximately 7-8 hours). Enroute via Ghansali for a scenic journey. Reach Guptakashi by evening, check into a comfortable hotel, and unwind. Overnight stay in Guptakashi.

Day 6 Guptakashi to Kedarnath

Early morning drive to Gaurikund (Approximately 1-2 hours). Embark on a trek to Kedarnath (By foot or pony/doli, 14 km, 6-7 hours). Visit the sacred Kedarnath temple and explore the Bhairavnath Temple. Overnight stay in the divine atmosphere of Kedarnath in Tent/hotel.

Day 7 Kedarnath to Guptkashi/Phata/Sirsi

Morning trek back to Gaurikund. Drive to Guptkashi (Approximately 1 hour). Check into a hotel, relax, and reflect on your spiritual journey. Overnight stay in Guptkashi/Phata/Sirsi.

Day 8 Tungnath and Chandrashila Trek

Drive to Chopta, embark on a morning trek to Tungnath (Approximately 3.5 km, 2 hours). Visit the Tungnath temple and continue to Chandrashila for breathtaking panoramic views. Return to Chopta/Piplekoti to rest and rejuvenate. Overnight stay in Chopta/Piplekoti.

Day 9 Chopta/Piplekoti to Badrinath

Drive to Badrinath in the morning (Approximately 4-5 hours). Enroute, explore Joshimath, Narsingh Temple, and Shankaracharya Math. Visit the revered Badrinath temple, Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, and Ganesh Gufa. Overnight stay in Piplekoti.

Day 10 Piplekoti to Haridwar

Depart for Haridwar after a nourishing breakfast (Approximately 7-8 hours). Enroute visit Vishnu Prayag, Karnaprayag, and Devprayag, experiencing the confluence of rivers. Reach Haridwar by evening, concluding your Char Dham Yatra with a sense of fulfillment.
