Day 1 Haridwar to Guptkashi or Phata

Start your journey early from Haridwar towards Guptkashi or Phata. En route, visit Dhari Devi Mandir, a revered temple dedicated to Goddess Dhari Devi. Travel time from Haridwar to Guptkashi or Phata is approximately 8-10 hours. Upon reaching Guptkashi or Phata, check-in to your accommodation and rest for the day.

Day 2 Guptkashi or Phata to Kedarnath Temple

Begin your journey towards Kedarnath Temple early in the morning. You'll reach Gaurikund, the base camp for Kedarnath, by road. From Gaurikund, commence the trek to Kedarnath Temple. The trek is around 16 kilometers and usually takes 6-8 hours. Kedarnath Temple is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas and holds immense significance in Hindu mythology. It's dedicated to Lord Shiva and is situated amidst breathtaking Himalayan peaks. After darshan and exploring the temple premises, you can also visit Bhairavnath Temple and Shankaracharya Samadhi located nearby. Overnight stay at Kedarnath.

Day 3 Kedarnath to Guptkashi

Begin the descent from Kedarnath to Gaurikund in the morning. From Gaurikund, drive back to Guptkashi. Rest and relax upon reaching Guptkashi. You can explore the local market or visit nearby attractions. Overnight stay at Guptkashi.

Day 4 Guptkashi to Badrinath

Depart from Guptkashi towards Badrinath early in the morning. The journey takes around 7-8 hours. Upon reaching Badrinath, visit the Badrinath Temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It is one of the Char Dham pilgrimage sites and holds great religious significance. After darshan at the temple, you can also visit Mana Village, the last village on the Indian side near the Indo-China border, and the Bheem Pul. Overnight stay at Badrinath.

Day 5 Badrinath Nearby Places and Rishikesh

Explore nearby attractions in Badrinath such as Tapt Kund, Mata Murti Temple, and Narad Kund. Depart from Badrinath towards Rishikesh. En route, visit places like Vishnuprayag, Karnaprayag, and Devprayag, where rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi merge to form the holy river Ganges. Upon reaching Rishikesh, you can enjoy camping near the banks of the Ganges. Overnight stay in Rishikesh.

Day 6 Rishikesh Local Sightseeing and Drop to Haridwar

Explore local attractions in Rishikesh such as Ram Jhula, Laxman Jhula, and Triveni Ghat. Visit the famous Beatles Ashram and attend the Ganga Aarti in the evening. After sightseeing, proceed to Haridwar. Drop-off at Haridwar marks the end of your journey.
