Yamunotri - Located in the district of Uttarkashi, the middle and surrounded by the lush valleys of the Garwal region, Yamunotri dham is often considered the first stop of the four holy shrines in the the pilgrimage routes of Char Dham and itself is a holy site. The holy river Yamuna gets its origin from Yamunotri glacier, which is located in the region. 

Gangotri -  Second stop on the char dham tourisy circuit. Gangotri is famous for the origin of holy Ganga River. It is believed that Gomukh glacier is located in Gangotri where holy river Ganga begins its downstream to the plains. The 18th century temple dedicated here is dedicated to Goddess Ganga and is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi once is believed to have worshipped Lord Shiva.  The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure, made of white granite.

Day 1 Haridwar – Barkot

Drive to Barkot from Haridwar via Mussoorie & visit Kempt Falls included in the package. Check in to your hotel at Barkot (included) Dinner and Overnight stay at Barkot. (included)

Day 2 Barkot – Yamunotri – Barkot

Next morning. Drive to Hanumanchatti (40 Km), Janki Chatti (8 km). Then trek to Yamunotri (6 Km trek). You can hire a Doli or a horse, for your trek (Not Included in the package, have to negotiate on the spot for the prices). Regardless of how you choose to travel you will enjoy the trek as you passes through lush green valley, conifer trees, rhododendrons, cacti and other unique and local Himalayan shrubs. Trek back to the hotel at Barkot

Day 3 Barkot – Uttarkashi

After breakfast (included) at Barkot, drive to Uttarkashi. On arrival check in into the hotel. Uttarkashi is located on the banks of the pious river Bhagirathi and is famous for many historical monuments, Temples & Ashrams. Enjoy the sights and sounds of the life and place as you take stroll through the banks of the river. In the evening, witness aarti at Vishwanath Temple. Dinner and Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Day 4 Uttarkashi – Gangotri – Uttarkashi

After breakfast, drive to Gangotri. Surrounded by the lush valleys of Garhwal, Gangotri is located at an altitude of 3048 mts. You can take a holy dip in the sacred river Ganges. Visit the Gangotri Temple. The 18th century’s temple dedicated to Goddess Ganga is located near a sacred stone where King Bhagirathi worshipped Lord Shiva. Ganga is believed to have touched earth at this spot. The temple is an exquisite 20 ft. high structure made of white granite. After performing Poojal drive back to Uttarkashi. Dinner & Overnight stay at Uttarkashi.

Day 5 Uttarkashi – Haridwar

Early morning, after breakfast, drive to Haridwar and drop in Haridwar Railway Station. Return home with precious memories and recharged.
